The following two illustrations trace the location of an
aurora. The energetic portion of the aurora’s wave formation
appears in red; the magnetic loop is transparent, but possesses
distinct borders.
A thorough understanding of the nature of energetic matter
clearly has many practical implications. Auroras are yet another
expression of the vast array of unique energetic phenomenon
throughout the universe, all of which remarkably adhere to
the same set of basic, universal rules.
